Dr. Rose parlayed his love of the performing arts into a notable career in the teaching profession. He received extensive training in performing arts disciplines throughout junior high and high school. After attaining a Bachelor of Music Education from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 1981 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from FAU in 1982, Dr. Rose worked as a performing arts educator in Westport, Connecticut, and Boca Raton, Florida, for 15 years.

Dr. Rose eventually extended his talents to the field of insurance. Inspired by the urge to aid people facing dire circumstances, he founded Mainstreet Solutions LLC and holds the title of owner and certified international specialist. In 2013, he solidified his expertise as an insurance professional by attaining certification as an international specialist from FAU.

During his tenure at Mainstreet Solutions, Dr. Rose has helped clients with issues related to medical problems, disability, life insurance, long-term care, and financial planning. His peers and clients note him for his extensive knowledge and the integrity with which he conducts his business.

Leadership and Community Involvement

Dr. Rose’s first leadership role came as Florida’s representative to the White House Office of Public Liaison from 1991 to 1993. To strengthen his business connections and build a professional network, he has held seats on his local Chamber of Commerce, the Palm Beach County Underwriters Association and the Florida Association of British Business.

His civil involvement extends well beyond participation in community or business-related organizations. Dr. Rose has played prominent roles in certain notable community establishments.

From 2004 to 2015, Dr. Rose served as president of the Life Care Foundation on Disabilities. To fortify his position serving this entity and strengthening its capacity to raise funds and help those in need, Dr. Rose furthered his education by achieving a master’s degree in management from FAU in 2012 and earned a master’s degree in business administration from FAU and garnered recognition as a certified fundraiser from FAU in 2013. In 2015, he joined Limitless Horizons International, a nonprofit organization founded by his daughter, and he is still currently affiliated with the organization.

Professional Recognition

Dr. Rose’s steadfast involvement in his community and professional success has earned him much praise and recognition. In 2021 and 2022, Finance Monthly named him an insurance expert of the year.

The most notable academic recognition for Dr. Rose came from the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate in 2016. This award was particularly meaningful to him, as it focused on his years of dedication to education rather than his more recent career in insurance. The honor reflects Dr. Rose’s deep commitment to advancing the field of education and his influence as a thought leader in his profession.

Future Goals

Dr. Rose wishes to continue serving people through his work. Therefore, he believes he will remain in the insurance sector until he retires. However, he looks forward to experiencing other opportunities that will help his personal or professional development and growth.
